Akai MPC 1000 - Tutorial Part 7 - Controlling a Modular Synthesizer - Midiverse - TV - MVM #112

What's up everybody? Welcome to Midiverse - TV! Today we're going to talk about using the Akai MPC1000 with a Modular Synthesizer.

Using the assignable outputs of the MPC we're able to trigger the drum modules that are in the rack. So we can play the drum modules in real time using the pads, as well recording MIDI sequences, so we can loop our drum parts.

Then we're using a MIDI to Control Voltage converter, which gives us four channels of CV and Gate outputs for use with the Modular Synthesizer.
